Letterfrack
Letterfrack is a small village on the Wild Atlantic way and on the N59 (National Route – Clifden to Galway). It is a bustling village with three pubs, four restaurants, a supermarket, butcher, post-office and two craft shops. Letterfrack is also home to a Furniture College, radio station (Connemara Community Radio) and a community center. Connemara National Park and the Diamond Mountain are accessed from Letterfrack village – this is the most popular hill walking area in the West of Ireland. Letterfrack Pier is the starting point for boat trips and fishing. Stay at Letterfrack Farm Cottages and a short walk will bring you to one of our three pubs for a pint, a live Irish Traditional music session or one of the village restaurants for a gourmet meal.
Kylemore Abbey
The Neo-Gothic Caastle – Kylemore Abbey is a three minute drive from Letterfrack Farm – it is the most popular visitor attraction in Connemara and well worth a visit.
Renvyle
Renvyle is located along the most magnificent coast line of the entire West Coast of Ireland. A short drive from Letterfrack. – cliffs, islands, expanses of white beaches, ancient piers and headlands – you will find it all here in Renvyle. A short walk from Wild Atlantic Vista House will bring you to one of Connemara’s iconic beaches – the White Strand.
Clifden
Clifden is the main town in Connemara. It is an historic, country town beside the sea. It has a wide variety of shops, retaurants, cafes and pubs and you can find live, traditional Irish music here 7 nights a week – all year round.
